The secret to spot removal
Wool has a natural outer protective membrance that helps prevent
water-based liquids penetrating the carpet fibres easily. This gives
you a chance to soak up spills before any damage is done.
So the secret is ACT QUICKLY!!!
There are 4 simple steps to clean spills effectively.
| 1. |
Scoop up solids and blot as much
liquid as possible using clean white towelling, or paper towels. |
| |
|
| 2. |
Clean with a suitable cleaning agent. Blot, don't
rub and scrub.
Don't apply the cleaning agent directly to your carpet. |
| |
|
| 3. |
Rinse with cold or luke warm water
only. |
| |
|
| 4. |
Blot dry with an absorbent paper
towel or use a cold air fan. |
Directly spills require different cleaning agents, so make sure
you have all the necessary ingredients on hand. Use the Wools of
New Zealand spotting chart for guidance. For a copy, call 1800 240
